My friend's dad had a repair shop when I was in high school, and in his little junk yard there was a '58 Ford Ranchwagon very much like the one you have pictured, except this one also had bucket seats, a FE big block (Probably just a 352), and a 4 on the floor.
I wanted it badly, but I also knew I'd never be able to afford to fix it up back then, it was missing several piece of glass and other hard to find parts.
But it had a functional scoop and the hood opened backwards!
